There are currently five playable characters called Valkyries, each with a unique starting loadout.

Default secondary abilities for a character are unlocked by beating the final boss on Easy, on that character.

Default primary abilities for a character are unlocked by beating the final boss on Hard, on that character.

Njord	50	0	Hands	Odin's Blessing	Valkyrie's Veil	Can only use the hands weapon. Has perfect infinite ammo and perfect accuracy. Starts with 7.	Defeat Nidhogg
Odr	0	0	Sawed-off Shotgun	Barter		Starts with 1 Luck. Always dies in 1 hit. Can Dash / Fly. Cannot gain more max HP from potions or armor (unlike Freyr). Can take 1 extra hit with a Lion Shield.	Defeat Nidhogg on hard
